The FPT Corporation and FPT City officially signed a contract on Friday to transfer land use rights at the FPT Da Nang Technology Urban Area to invest in education development projects.

FPT City General Director Nguyen Van Loc said that the unit now has the right to use an over 8,000 m² land plot​​ in the FPT Da Nang Technology Urban Area. This land area, along with all technical infrastructure of electricity and water, boundary markers, current status and existing assets on the land, will be transferred to FPT Corporation to serve the project to expand FPT's education system in Da Nang.

According to the General Director of FPT Education Company Limited (FPT Corporation), Chairman of the Board of FPT University, Dr. Le Truong Tung said "FPT City Da Nang is currently a place where many member units in the education sector of FPT Corporation are investing and developing. The handover of additional land funds will create conditions for the group to strongly develop the education and training sector, contributing positively to the development of high-quality human resources in the city, including job opportunities related to information technology, semiconductors, etc.

In the coming time, FPT City Technology Urban Area and FPT Corporation will coordinate with departments, agencies and localities of Da Nang to soon implement infrastructure investment projects and develop the education and training sector.
