KP Vina Aviation Components Factory inaugurated in Da Nang
South Korea’s KP Aero Industries Group opened the KP Vina Aircraft Components Factory at the Da Nang High-Tech Park on Friday.

The inauguration was attended by Chairman of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang Le Van Trung, Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong, and representatives of the local departments and agencies.
Construction started on the KP Vina Aircraft Components Factory project in late January 2024 at Lot A15, the Da Nang High-Tech Park, Hoa Lien Commune, Hoa Vang District.
The US$ 20 million factory specialises in manufacturing, processing and assembling aircraft components, including auxiliary power unit (APU) doors, MIC tip, Wingbox, Winglet, and flap support fairings of Boeing 787 and Boeing 737 Max aircrafts.
This is also the second project in the aerospace sector invested in Da Nang High-Tech Park, following one developed by the Universal Alloy Corporation (UAC) Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong expressed his belief that with the thorough investment, modern technology and continuous efforts of KP Aerospace Vietnam Co., Ltd., the KP Vina Aircraft Components Factory will quickly come into effective operation, contributing positively to promoting the overall economic development of the high-tech industry in the aviation sector.
According to Vice Chairman Cuong, the KP Vina Aircraft Components Factory is one of the key projects in the city’s high-tech industry development strategy. The presence of this factory is a testament to the strong development of Da Nang as a hi-tech centre, and a favourable environment for businesses to invest in advanced technology fields and component manufacturing, especially in the aviation industry.
“The city government is always committed to supporting and creating the most favourable conditions for investors. At the same time, we hope that the KP Aerospace will continuously develop and expand its scale, contributing to the sustainable development of the aviation industry and the local socio-economic development in the coming time” Vice Chairman Cuong emphasised.
