In 2024, the number of tourist arrivals travelling to Da Nang by train rose by 43.5% year-on-year to hit an estimated 643,108, according to the municipal Department of Tourism.

According to Viet Nam Railways Corporation, in addition to regular train trips, the railway industry operates high-quality trains on the Ha Noi - Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang, and Hue - Da Nang routes, especially tourist train named "Connecting Central Heritage".

In recent times, the Da Nang Department of Tourism has promoted the city's popular destinations on tourist trains, set up "touch points" to support information, and arranged check-in models for suitable products, in order to introduce the image of Da Nang to rail passengers.

At the same time, the local tourism industry continues to build stimulus packages and incentive programmes for tourists travelling to Da Nang by rail, improve the quality of services on all train routes, and create a variety of means of transportation for visitors to choose from.
