The City Partnership Forum - Da Nang 2025 (Meet Da Nang 2025) themed "Convergence and Spread" officially opened at the Ariyana Convention Centre on Friday, attracting 500 domestic and foreign partners.

In his speech delivered at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh said that the forum provided an opportunity for international friends to see Da Nang as a dynamic and creative city.

At the same time, it was a chance for localities to access information, visions, trends and new technologies, serving the city's socio-economic development, as well as for Da Nang to enhance its position and affirm its role as a growth and international integration pole.

"We want to make Da Nang a place to converge and spread good values, knowledge and valuable experiences of the international community. From there, many partners will come and accompany the development of the city", Chairman Chinh stated.

On the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son sent a message to the forum via online form.

The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated Da Nang for its initiative to organize the forum, marking the opening foreign affairs event for 2025 and an important milestone of the city associated with a series of major events.

Congratulating Da Nang on the impressive and substantial cooperation results in recent times, the Deputy Prime Minister said that this contributed to promoting the city's development but also creating a new spirit and new motivation to enter the era of national development.

At this official session, Da Nang wished to increase discussions with partners in key areas such as innovation, smart city, high technology, semiconductor, artificial intelligence, urban planning and sustainable tourism.
