The Centre for Innovative Startup Support under the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology organised a workshop to facilitate connection between Da Nang startups and Japanese investment funds on Monday.

At the event, representatives of the E-Future Association and Japanese investment funds such as the Universal Materials Incubator Co., Ltd., Daiwa Corporate Investment Co., Ltd., and Z Venture Capital Investment Fund shared experiences, investment strategies as well as potential cooperation with startups, especially emphasising technology and innovation trends with strong potential for development in the coming time.

In addition, the event’s organisers created 1:1 connection opportunities between Da Nang startups and Japanese investment funds, helping the parties learn more about opportunities for cooperation, investment and market expansion. This created an opportunity for Da Nang businesses to directly present their projects, products and business ideas to international investors.

Japan is currently the leading country in terms of registered investment capital in the city with more than US$ 1.14 billion for 261 projects. Most of the Japanese-invested projects are operating well, contributing positively to promoting the local socio-economic development.
