Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Deputy Director of the Hai Van Cat International Travel Company, shared that, like every year, the company's employees will take turns to return home before Tet and be ready to return to work during peak days.
Over the years, the company has closely followed the city's Tet celebration programmes to develop its special tours such as Vietnamese Tet Festival and the spring flower street check-in point for tourists to experience the Tet atmosphere of Da Nang people in addition to famous destinations Ba Na Hills and Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park.
Currently, tourist spots citywide are deploying a variety of unique products to serve people and tourists during the Tet Festival. In particular, the Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park plans to organize the Than Tai Festival 2025 for 15 days starting from January 30 to February 13. Similarly, the Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa will hold a Japanese art programme from the first to the third days of Tet with top performances by Samurai, Geisha, Ninja, etc.
Mr. Huynh Tan Phap, Executive Director of the Toom Sara Village in Phu Tuc Village, Hoa Phu Commune, Hoa Vang District, said that the "Tet Lang - Tet Lanh 2025" programme will be held in the Toom Sara tourist area, aimed at bringing unique experiences to visitors about Vietnamese culture in the western part of the city.
The programme will feature many interesting activities, including planting trees at the beginning of the new lunar year, praying for peace and luck, writing wish cards and hanging them at the display corner on the infinity stage, and the traditional art performances of the Co-tu people. Also, there will be outdoor and indoor playgrounds with folk games such as ‘o an quan’ (mandarin square capturing), and painting pebbles for children.
The "Tet Lang - Tet Lanh" is a meaningful programme, helping people understand more about the cultural values of the traditional Tet, and at the same time, offering an opportunity for the community to have a space to stay away from mobile devices to connect and share peaceful values, Mr. Phap shared.

Enhancing local culinary experiences
In addition to festivals and entertainment activities, culinary is an experience that cannot be missed by tourists when coming to the city during this year’s Tet Festival.
Da Nang's inclusion in the Top 10 culinary destinations in 2025 as voted by the Michelin World's Leading Culinary Guide, combined with the Food tour campaign launched by the municipal Department of Tourism at the end of 2024, has created an attraction for tourists.
According to the Da Nang Visitor Support Centre, tourists are quite excited about the culinary passport programme, with many tourists collecting 20 stamps from 20 different restaurants. Foreign tourists are taking the opportunity to collect 2 stamps from Michelin Guide-starred restaurants.
"I have experienced four local specialties at reputable addresses introduced by the Digital Culinary Map. I am sure this is an extremely interesting experience for tourists when visiting Da Nang", shared Ms. Nguyen Truc Phuong, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Thuan, Sales Director of the Xom Moi Garden Restaurant located at 222 Tran Phu, Hai Chau District, said that the restaurant will serve Vietnamese dishes (regional specialties, Vietnamese rice) and some European - Asian dishes throughout Tet to satisfy many customers.
“The Food tour campaign, including the culinary passport programme at 50 stores selected by the municipal Department of Tourism, has contributed to introducing culinary destinations, and local - regional and international specialties to tourists. We hope that the municipal Department of Tourism will coordinate with other units to make videos promoting Da Nang cuisine and exploring a restaurant each week so that tourists can understand more about the city's culinary destinations” Ms. Thuan said.
According to Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the municipal Department of Tourism, the tourism industry is also working with Michelin Guide to organize a culinary event in Da Nang in mid-June. At the same time, many activities are being expanded such as the culinary passport programmes with the themes of Street Food and Fine Dining, and Chef Tour programme and Food Race.
