Speaking at the inauguration ceremony for the subdivision 3 of FPT Complex on Thursday, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang expressed his joy at the completion of the office building, ensuring the working ecosystem of 10,000 people. This was considered a symbol of the development of FPT Group and the close relationship and coordination between the group and the city.

Secretary Quang also congratulated the FPT Group on its achievements in 2024, and expressed that with the great determination of the group, the efforts of all cadres and employees, and the coordination and support of the city, the group will continue to develop strongly in 2025.

He supported the group's orientations in 2025 and suggested that FPT Group test or let businesses use the infrastructure and space of this area to test automation technologies such as self-driving cars and automatic delivery robots, etc.

Along with that, he suggested that FPT Group continue to coordinate, accompany, and support the city in developing digital infrastructure, implementing digital transformation projects, and promoting the development of the semiconductor and artificial intelligence fields.

He also stressed the need for the group to accelerate the construction of data centers, as well as take advantage of new incentive mechanisms for digital technology industrial parks as well as specific mechanisms and policies of the city.

Regarding the recommendations of FPT Group, especially the implementation of 5 projects in 2025 (including office building No. 2 in FPT Concentrated Information Technology Park; FPT School No. 2; FPT Polytechnic Vocational Training Centre; FPT Plaza 4 apartment building; and FPT Plaza 5 apartment building with a total investment of VND 5,050 billion), Secretary Quang assigned the municipal Department of Construction to speed up the progress of granting construction permits after receiving complete documents. He also urged authorities in Ngu Hanh Son District to complete site clearance soon, and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to complete procedures on land prices.

Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Le Quang Nam requested FPT Group to continue supporting the city in implementing the smart city building project; building data on land, construction and traffic; and giving specific opinions on planning underground traffic routes to this urban area more appropriately.

At the same time, the municipal Department of Construction is required to further accelerate the progress of granting construction permits, especially for projects that FPT Group has planned to start construction in 2025. The Department of Transport is researching and implementing a number of bus routes to ensure external traffic to the FPT City Urban Area.

Mr. Pham Minh Tuan, Deputy General Director of FPT Group and General Director of FPT Software Company Limited, shared that 2025 will mark the 20^th anniversary of FPT's presence in Da Nang and is also the year that FPT and many international customers will participate in the close event for the FPT Complex building, of which up to 80% of customers are large corporations from South Korea and Japan.

FPT Group asked for a support from the city to expand this concentrated information technology park in order to contribute to the digital economic development of Da Nang.

The FPT Complex is one of three concentrated IT parks in Da Nang that has been recognised by the Government and is one of the office campuses that gather the largest number of high-quality IT engineers.

The FPT Complex currently has 8,000 IT employees, contributing 69% of Da Nang's total software export turnover. In 2024, FPT Group contributed VND 326.6 billion, including personal income tax, to the city budget.

In addition to the IT service sector for foreign markets, FPT has made many positive contributions to the city's development in many other fields. In the education sector, FPT has trained nearly 18,000 students for Da Nang.

In the healthcare sector, FPT has got involved in modernising management and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment at the Da Nang Oncology Hospital, the Da Nang Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital, and district-level medical centres.

In the coming time, FPT Group will continue to accompany the city in training hi-quality human resources for the semiconductor industry. It has currently recruited 1,500 people to study semiconductors at university, college and international certificate levels, creating an important human resource foundation for the future.
