Work has recently started on the construction, supply and installation of equipment package of the Cam Le District waste transfer station project in Hoa Xuan Ward, Cam Le District, the Management Board of Da Nang Urban Infrastructure and Development Investment Projects announced.

The project is being implemented by the consortium of SEEN Engineering Joint Stock Company and Saigon Transport Mechanical Engineering Corporation with a winning bid price of over VND 117.7 billion.

The Cam Le District waste transfer station highlights a waste transfer capacity of 200 tonnes/day, including 2 waste compactors; 4 hooklift trucks transporting large-sized waste containers, 11 large-sized waste containers; systems of automatic car wash, the cleaning of drainage ditches and factories; odor and exhaust gas treatment, vehicle weight weighing and bulky waste treatment systems. In addition, the waste treatment plant also reserves a location to install a third waste compactor to increase the waste compacting capacity in the future.

The investment in the Cam Le waste transfer station aims to serve the collection and transfer of waste for Cam Le District and neighbouring areas, creating an effective waste transfer solution towards synchronizing and perfecting the waste collection network in the city, solving the problem of environmental sanitation and landscape in the city, in line with the orientation of completing infrastructure and mechanization of waste collection in the city.

The construction, supply and installation package of the ongoing Cam Le waste transfer station project will be completed in 8 months (240 days).
