Da Nang joins Asia-Pacific's largest MICE tourism fair for first time
Da Nang made its debut at the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME 2025) in Melbourne, Australia, from February 10 - 12.
During the 3-day fair, Da Nang connected nearly 200 appointments with potential buyers in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), golf and wedding tourism from such markets as Europe, America, Australia, Singapore, India, and Southeast Asia. Also, hundreds of visitors visited the city’s pavilion to learn about local tourism products.
Through exchanges, the partners showed their special interest in Da Nang's tourism products, promising the ability to connect and exchange guests, and organising events and conferences in the central coastal city in the coming time.
Through its participation in AIME 2025, the city is expected to continue strengthening connectivity with potential businesses that specialise in exploiting high-spending customers in the Australian market and the Asia-Pacific region, thereby launching direct flights from Da Nang to Australian cities moving forward.
AIME is the largest and oldest fair on MICE tourism in the Asia-Pacific region, certified by the UFI Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. AIME 2025 connected 20,000 meetings between 1,650 buyers and 675 exhibitors who were event management companies, travel agencies, associations, professional conference organisers, corporations, destination companies, government organisations, airlines, and exhibitors.
