Enjoy Da Nang 2025 - diverse experience

The city plans to launch a tourism stimulus programme in 2025 called ‘Enjoy Da Nang 2025 - Diverse Experience’ targeting international and domestic tourists, and international tourists who have visited Da Nang since 2020 and now return to the city.

Lasting from February to December 2025, the programme will priority promoting and stimulating demand to tourist markets on major holidays and events of the country and the city, such as the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang (March 15 to April 15, 2025), National Day (September 2) and low tourist season (August 30 to October 31, 2025), and Christmas and New Year 2026.

The stimulus programme will comprise two major events: "Enjoy Da Nang 2025 - Diverse Experience” with a focus on introducing new local tourism services and products, and ‘I love Da Nang’ with attention to attracting international tourists to return to Da Nang.

Under the "Enjoy Da Nang 2025 - Diverse Experience" programme, both domestic and international tourists are exempted from entrance fees to some tourist attractions, including the Da Nang Museum, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, and the Marble Mountains national special relic.

The city also encourages all tourism service providers to have special preferential policies, as well as deploys specific service packages to attract visitors. Included are combos at a preferential price of only VND 499,000 each for accommodation and historical relics; combos for accommodation and nighttime services with highlights of Da Nang Downtown complex, Han River cruise, and Bach Dang walking street; and combos for accommodation and unique restaurants in Da Nang.

The ‘I love Da Nang’ programme applies to international tourists who have been to Da Nang since 2020 and return to Da Nang. In particular, special attention will be paid to some key tourist markets such as China, South Korea, Japan, and ASEAN nations.

As part of the programme, there are 10,000 vouchers (valid until the end of 2025); 20-30% discounts on entrance fees to famous places in Da Nang; and a lucky draw to receive 50-100% discount vouchers, free hotel rooms, and free experience of Da Nang tour programmes.

Creating new driving force for tourism development

Mr. Cao Tri Dung, Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association, said that the central coastal city was a leading locality in the country in effectively implementing tourism stimulus programmes for domestic and foreign tourists. Tourism stimulus programme has been implemented regularly and continuously over many years and has maintained their popularity, creating a boost in developing new tourism products and enhancing the experience and value for tourists. At the same time, this is a model of effective and successful cooperation between state management agencies and the domestic and foreign business community.

The new highlight of this year’s tourism stimulus programme is to focus on the three low periods for domestic tourism, while clearly identifying the source of visitors for each promotion period.

For example, the local tourism industry will concentrate on visitors from the Central and Central Highlands regions from March 15 - April 15; domestic visitors from August 30 - September 30; and foreign tourists in December.

Accompanying the Department of Tourism, the city’s Tourism Association will call on tourism service providers to develop outstanding product packages in a bid to create high attraction for tourists; organise communication promotion activities at domestic and foreign tourist markets; and proactively establish sales groups in Da Nang and localities to quickly bring stimulus products to consumers through traditional platforms and e-commerce channels.

According to Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the municipal Department of Tourism, the department is in charge of implementing the stimulus programme in order to lure more tourists to the city in 2025.

In particular, importance will be attached to introducing new and unique tourism products of Da Nang and advertising destinations in 2025, as well as coordinating with relevant agencies such as the Tourism Association, district-level People's Committees, and the Department of Industry and Trade to mobilize tourism service providers (hotels, travel agencies, tourist attractions, etc.) to participate in the programme.

The municipal Department of Tourism will continue to promote the aforementioned programme on international and domestic channels suitable for each market, and channels of localities and units that have signed cooperation agreements with Da Nang.

At the same time, the unit will invite Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and organize famtrips and presstrips for tourism firms to experience Da Nang's tourism products and promote the campaign.

The Da Nang tourism stimulus programme in 2025 mobilises the participation of departments and agencies at all levels, tourism businesses, and service providers to develop many highly competitive products to attract more customers.

With the programme, the city’s tourism industry expects to achieve the planned target in 2025 with the number of guests served by accommodation establishments estimated at more than 11.9 million (up 10% compared to 2024), and revenue from accommodation, food and beverage, and travel to surpass VND 36,000 billion (up over 16% compared to 2024).
