The SJC Central Viet Nam gold store at 193 Hung Vuong Street in Hai Chau District opened from 6:30 am to welcome customers, instead of at 8:00am as usual.

At the specific opening time, the buying and selling prices of SJC gold were listed at VND 86.5 million and VND 90.03 million per tael; those of SJC 99.99 gold rings at VND 86.5 million - VND 89.5 million per tael; and those of 99% jewelry gold at VND 85.3 million and VND 88.3 million per tael.

Mrs. Pham Thu Ha, residing in Khue My Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, said that because she was busy with work, she visited the gold store to buy gold on the God of Wealth Day in the early morning. She runs a small business and believes that buying gold on God of Wealth Day will bring good fortune to business and families throughout the year.

On the God of Wealth Day, gold and jewelry products are in a variety of designs, styles, materials, colours and weights.

A representative of the Phu Nhuan Jewelry Store (PNJ) at 123 Hung Vuong Street said that in addition to the gold rings engraved with the words Phuc (Happiness), Loc (Prosperity), and Tai (Wealth), her store offered such new products as God of Wealth and Snake figurines, gold charms, and plain rings.
