The Da Nang Department of Tourism, on Tuesday, launched the Da Nang tourism stimulus program in 2025 with the theme “Enjoy Da Nang 2025 - Diverse Experience”.

Speaking at the launching event, Director of the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh highly appreciated Da Nang's initiatives and efforts in pioneering and implementing the tourism stimulus programme in 2025.

He believed that the Da Nang tourism stimulus programme will promote tourism activities, and lure domestic and international tourists to Da Nang, thereby contributing to the GDP growth of the city as well as the whole country. The stimulus programme is expected to create a positive effect, bringing memorable experiences to tourists with attractive multi-experience enjoyment, he added.

Mr. Khanh also stressed the need for the city to take advantage of its existing advantages to develop tourism in a quick and sustainable manner, and create momentum for the development of other industries and fields, hereby making Da Nang be an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists, and one of the important growth centres of the Viet Nam tourism.

At the same time, he urged the city to actively respond to the 2025 Tourism Stimulus Programme "Viet Nam - Travel to Love" launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as well as carry out a stimulus programme associated with unique tourism products and local cultural events and festivals. Heed should be on issuing policies and mechanisms to increase product value, offer incentives on prices and services, and enhance experiences for tourists through diverse, high-quality tourism programmes, Mr. Khanh noted.

In addition, importance should be attached to strengthening communication, and organising amazing activities and events to attract more tourists; boosting links with destinations, products and services to create attractive stimulus packages for tourists; and ensuring security, safety, and quality of products and services for tourists.

According to the municipal Department of Tourism, the tourism stimulus program in 2025 will concentrate on increasing new tourism experiences for tourists, and offer unique products and many incentive programmes on prices and services.

Specifically, the programme applies to a variety of customers, including international and domestic visitors, for first-time visitors to Da Nang, and international visitors returning to Da Nang from 2020 with a passport stamped to Da Nang.

The programme will be implemented throughout 2025 and focus on three main periods: the 50^th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang, National Day September 2, and Christmas - New Year 2026.

Notably, admission fees will be waived for the Marble Mountains, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, and the Fine Arts Museum on the death anniversary of the Hung Kings and major holidays.

Additionally, the second campus of the Da Nang Museum will officially open to the public on March 29 and offer free admission until a resolution on the new fee level is issued.

More interestingly, as many as 20 festivals will be held throughout 2025, including the 50^th anniversary of the city's Liberation, the Quan The Am Festival, the Da Nang Food Tour Festival, the Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) 2025, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, the 3^rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival, the opening programme of the beach tourism season, the Enjoy Da Nang programme, the Viet Nam - ASEAN Festival, the Viet Nam - Japan Festival, the Viet Nam - South Korea Festival, and the Christmas - New Year Festival Da Nang 2026.

The programme is expected to see the participation of nearly 200 tourism service providers offering more than 30,000 gift vouchers with free or 20-50% discount on tourist attraction fees, shows, accommodation, transportation, and food establishments in the city; and deploy specific service packages to attract visitors with new highlights.

At the launching ceremony of the tourism stimulus programme, the city’s tourism sector signed cooperation agreements with a number of accompanying units to implement the Da Nang tourism stimulus programme in 2025. The municipal Department of Tourism also announced that Miss International 2024 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy is the Tourism Ambassador of Da Nang who will engage in the promotion of the Da Nang tourism stimulus program in 2025.
