The People's Committee of Da Nang has just approved the integrated component of the study of the economic development linkage model in the urban chain of Hue - Da Nang - Chu Lai (Ky Ha) - Dung Quat (Van Tuong) - Quy Nhon.

The orientation of this component is to link localities into the central dynamic zone, including coastal areas of centrally-governed provinces and cities: Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Binh Dinh, in which Da Nang is the growth pole.

Accordingly, an urban system including Da Nang and neighbouring urban areas will be built into a hub for startups, innovation, tourism, trade, finance, logistics, industry, high technology, and information technology.

The overall strategy for localities is to link potential industries with marine economy in the urban chain to optimise the potential and advantages of each locality.

Solutions will focus on building mechanisms and policies on state management; developing economic infrastructure connecting urban chains; and finance and investment capital.

The implementation of projects with large-scale investment associated with the formation and development of urban chains, and linking key economic sectors during the 2021-2023 period with a vision to 2050, will depend on the ability to balance and mobilize capital of each period.
