According to the Da Nang Statistics Office, more than VND 2,000 billion was disbursed for the shared infrastructure part of the Lien Chieu Port project in the first quarter of 2025.

Specifically, in its report on the socio-economic situation in March and the first quarter of 2025, the Statistics Office showed the positive growth of the city's economy during January - March period. The city’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) increased by 11.36% over the same period in 2024. Notably, many key projects made good progress, especially the shared infrastructure part of the Lien Chieu Port project, with a total investment of VND 3,426 billion.

By the end of the first quarter, the disbursement investment for the project reached VND 2,190 billion. Meanwhile, the coastal road project connecting the national road system and the Lien Chieu port in the central city, with a total investment of VND 1,203 billion, is also being accelerated, reaching a cumulative construction volume of VND 525 billion.

In addition, the VND 817 billion main drainage route project from the downstream of the Da Nang High-Tech Park drainage canal to the Hoa Lien commune flood drainage canal is under construction and achieved a volume of VND 37 billion in the first quarter of 2025. Once completed, the project will improve the drainage system, contributing to reducing flooding and enhance the quality of life for people.
