The People's Committee of Vinh Phuc Province held a conference in Da Nang on Friday to promote tourism in the central coastal city.

During the event, a number of popular tourist attractions in Vinh Phuc Province, and local tourism products and services, were introduced to travel agencies, tourism businesses and investors in Da Nang.

According to Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu, through the conference, Vinh Phuc Province hoped to build a brand, connect and boost tourism cooperation with Da Nang in the coming time. The focus on will be on exploiting key markets in Da Nang and elsewhere in the central region, contributing to the sustainable growth of domestic tourist sources.

On the occasion, some tourism units between the two localities signed Memoranda of Understanding on tourism development cooperation.

Vinh Phuc Province is located in the transition zone between the midland hills and the Red River Delta. Therefore, the terrain is lower from the Northwest to the Southeast and divided into 3 ecological regions: delta, midland and mountainous, creating a very rich and diverse ecological area with many attractive landscapes. The province houses many appealing tourist attractions, in which Tam Dao Town continues to receive the Award "World's Leading Destination Town".
