Coach Hoang Van Phuc has submitted a list of 32 players who will train for a friendly match against European giant Arsenal on July 17.

The call-up is a combination of young talent and older troops, including 13 midfielders, 11 defenders, 5 strikers and 3 goalkeepers.

Song Lam Nghe An forward Le Cong Vinh is included after his remarkable performance in local V-league.

Veteran midfielder Nguyen Minh Phuong of SHB Da Nang is also listed, despite saying goodbye to national team.

Others include U23-team goalie Tran Buu Ngoc, defender Duong Thanh Hao and forward Mac Hong Quan, who are preparing for the SEA Games later this year.

The friendly team will start training on July 12 in Ha Noi.
