Ly Bang Kung Fu Group will perform its first-ever live show at the Da Nang Cultural House on Phan Dang Luu Street at 8pm tomorrow, 15 June.

Ly Bang said that the live show will feature new and exciting performances combining martial arts and circus by Ly Bang himself and 12 other martial art masters.

For example, the artistes will pull a cyclo carrying 4 people with their eyelids.  In addition Ly Bang will place a balloon behind a 3 to 5mm-thick pane of glass, and throw a 5cm-long needle through it to make the balloon break.  He will then show the audience the hole made by the needle in the pane of glass.

Ly Bang added that he has practised this unique circus act since 2005, and he has performed it at many domestic and international circus festivals.  Thanks to this particular trick, he gained significant success in Vietnam’s Got Talent 2012, a Vietnamese reality television talent show.
