SHB DN top the V-League 2013
Matches in the 14th round of Viet Nam’s top-tier V-League 2013 took place at stadiums across the country on 29 and 30 June.
SHB Da Nang have moved into the top spot after their 2-1 away win over league leaders Ha Noi T&T at the Hang Day Stadium yesterday afternoon.
SHB DN took control of the whole game, and their dominance paid off in the 73th minute when striker Merlo opened the scoring for them. Then, their striker Milorad scored the second goal in the 88th minute.

Hanoi T&T’s striker Van Quyet scored a late goal in stoppage time to help his team narrow the gap to 1-2, but SHB DN hung on to win the match and go top of the league.
In other matches, Vicem Hai Phong managed a draw, 1-1 against Thanh Hoa at the Lach Tray Stadium, whilst Kien Giang suffered a 0-3 defeat at home to Hoang Anh Gia Lai.
Dong Nai were held to a goalless draw at home by Saigon Xuan Thanh Cement, while Binh Duong also played out a goalless draw against Ninh Binh at the Binh Duong Stadium. Song Lam Nghe An notched up an 8-0 win over Dong Tam Long An in Sunday’s game at the Vinh Stadium.
After the first 14 rounds, SHB DN currently top the league with 25 points, followed by Song Lam Nghe An also on 25, and Hoang Anh Gia Lai on 24. SHB DN, however, still have one game in hand over SLNA and HAGL. Kien Giang, Binh Duong and Dong Tam Long An are the bottom 3, with 12, 12 and 11 points respectively.
