The SHB Da Nang Sports Company and SHB Da Nang Football Club celebrated the start of the new football season last Saturday morning.

Speaking at the event, SHB DN’s coach Le Huynh Duc said that his club is facing many difficulties because half of SHB Da Nang’s players are young, such as Vo Huy Toan, Ho Ngoc Thang, Giang Tran Quach Tan, Dang Anh Tuan and Hoang Minh Tam.  However, he remarked that he and his squad would do their utmost to reach their target of finishing in the top three of Viet Nam's top-tier V-League 2015.

In an effort to be as competitive as possible in the new season, the club has recruited some talented domestic players from its training programme, and 2 new foreign strikers who have been employed in accordance with the rules of the Viet Nam Football Federation.

The Chi Lang Stadium has been repaired to meet the requirements of the tournament’s organisers, and all the repair costs have come from the city’s budget.  In addition, all the organising costs of V-League matches at the Chi Lang Stadium will be financed from the city’s budget.  After deducting organising expenses, 50% of the money collected from ticket sales will be given to the club.

SHB DN’s first V-League game is an away match against Thanh Hoa on Sunday 4 January at 4.00pm.
