Following recent approval by the Da Nang People’s Council, the Museum of Da Nang will be allowed to collect an entrance fee from 1 June. 

The admission fee will be 20,000 VND per person.  However, residents of Da Nang and Quang Nam Province, people aged 60 and above, the disabled, students, pupils, and diplomatic guests will enjoy free admission. 

All the money collected will go to fund the museum’s operation and to pay some staff costs.  At least 20% of this total will be spent on preserving and restoring the artifacts on display, as well as buying new equipment for the venue.
