SHB Da Nang gained their first league point of this year’s V-league season by drawing 1-1 with Ha Noi T&T at the Chi Lang Stadium yesterday, but they now lie in bottom place.

SHB DN took control of the game at the beginning and their dominance paid off in the 14^th minute when midfielder Quang Huy opened the scoring for the home side with a deep and powerful shot from outside the penalty area.

However, in the 64^th minute Ha Noi T&T’s Argentinian striker Marronkle passed the ball to midfielder Van Quyet who beat SHB DN’s goalkeeper to level the game.

In yesterday’s other matches, Quang Ninh defeated Dong Thap 3-1 at the Cam Pha Stadium, Thanh Hoa drew 1-1 at home to Khanh Hoa, and Quang Nam managed a 2-2 home draw against Dong Tam Long An. 

Binh Duong continue their unbeaten run of 4 consecutive matches with a 1-0 win over Song Lam Nghe An at the Vinh Stadium.  Dong Nai lifted themselves off bottom place with a 1-0 home win over Can Tho, whilst Hai Phong beat Hoang Anh Gia Lai 1-0 at the Lach Tray Stadium.

SHB DN’s next match is on Sunday at 5pm away to Hoang Anh Gia Lai, the team which is attracting a lot of interest this season because of their Arsenal connections.
