The Da Nang Union of Literature and Arts Associations has announced that 5 local works have won 2014 Literature and Arts Awards at national level.

A poetry collection entitled “Mot Giot” (A Drop) by poet Pham Phat won prize A, whilst a documentary film “Huong Ve Que Me” (Towards the Motherland) by Dang Quoc Phon took prize B.  A poetry collection entitled “Thien Di” by poet Nguyen Minh Hung, and a short story collection “Nang O Cong Troi” (She Is in Heaven Gate) by writer Nguyen Thi Anh Dao shared the prize C.  A photo “Quyet Tam Bam Bien” (Strong Determination to Fish in Viet Nam’s Waters) by reporter Dang Van No from the Da Nang Newspaper won a consolation prize.

The awards ceremony will take place on 23 January at the Viet Nam Union of Literature and Arts Associations’ headquarters in Ha Noi.
