SHB DN face very tough challenge at Binh Duong
After losing 1-2 at home to Song Lam Nghe An last Sunday, SHB Da Nang will tomorrow be playing away at defending champions and current V-League leaders Binh Duong. The 5pm kick off will be a very tough game for the visitors because Binh Duong have had impressive results in both of their matches so far, beating Dong Thap 6-1 on 4 January and then QNK Quang Nam 4-2 on 10 January.
Binh Duong have a number of skilled players having recruited the trio of Trong Hoang, Au Van Hoan and Hoang Van Binh who were Song Lam Nghe An’s key stars in 2014. They have also signed strikers Anh Duc and Cong Vinh and midfielder Tan Tai who are all currently members of the Viet Nam national team.

In contrast, SHB DN have a marked shortage of funds and, as a result, the club has recruited only medium-standard foreign and domestic players. They are Melquiades Gomez, Anto Pejic, Phong Quang Trung and Tran Van Hoc.
In addition, some SHB DN senior players are showing their age, whilst the youngsters have yet to meet the requirements of the coaching board. SHB DN have a very difficult fixture schedule as they were drawn to face 4 strong opponents in their first 5 matches - Song Lam Nghe An, Binh Duong, Ha Noi T&T, and Hoang Anh Gia Lai.
