Various cultural activities will be held in Da Nang in response to the Viet Nam Book Day (21 April).

In detail, the 2015 Da Nang Book Festival will take place on 18 and 19 April at either the city’s 29 March Park or the Museum of Cham Sculpture.  The event will feature numerous exciting activities, including displays of different types of books, and a book signing and presentation programme between local readers and authors of stories about the country's sea and islands, youth literature and Quang Nam Province’s culture.  In addition, there will be a book collection and donation programme for those living in remote areas, and book reading and exchanging skills will be introduced at the event.

In addition, other exciting activities will be organised at local schools including a book reading festival between 18 and 22 April, and a campaign to promote the reading habit at the schools’ libraries and reading culture amongst local pupils and students.  In addition, book reading clubs will be organised as part of the schools’ extracurricular activities.
