On Monday morning, a solemn procession of the certificate recognising the Hoa Phu Village Communal House as a municipal-level architectural relic took place from the headquarters of the Hoa Minh Ward People’s Committee to the  communal house.  There was also a procession of a diploma in the afternoon of the same day.

Today, 3 March, some solemn rituals were held at the Communal House.  They consisted of making offerings to the ancestors and the God of the Soil, a prayer ceremony, and an incense-offering ceremony in commemoration of national heroes and ancestors.

Also on the same day, there was a wide range of interesting folk games and traditional competitions such as stick pushing, climbing banana trees, baseball, running race, calligraphy, martial arts performances, and “bai choi” singing.

The Hoa Phu Village Communal House is built on an area of 2,000m2 on Tran Nguyen Dan Street.  The village is home to 153 residential groups, and local residents make every effort to create a cultural and united village.
