The swimming competition at the 2015 National Swimming and Diving Championships (25m-pool) ended on Tuesday at Thua Thien-Hue Province’s Underwater Sports Centre.

After 5 days of competition, Da Nang’s team came bottom of the medals table with just a bronze medal in the men’s 800m relay.  This disappointing result was partly explained by the absence of local talented swimmer Hoang Quy Phuoc who has been sent to Japan for training. 

Ho Chi Minh City’s team finished 1^st with 25 gold medals, 14 silver and 8 bronze, whilst Long An came 2^nd with 6 gold medals, 5 silver and 10 bronze.  The Quang Ninh team ranked 3^rd with 3 gold medals, 3 silver and 1 bronze.
