Vietnamese fencers continued performing well at the 28^th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 2015 in Singapore, winning two additional gold medals and one silver from the three finals held on June 4.

Tran Thi Len brought home the first gold medal of the day for Viet Nam in the women’s individual epee. Len beat Raguin Harlene of Philippines 15-7 in the final.

Not long after, Nguyen Thi Le Dung defeated Starrat Sirawalai of Thailand 15-5 in the women’s individual sabre final to claim the second gold medal for Viet Nam.

Young fencer Nguyen Minh Quang left a mark in his first appearance at the Games with a silver medal in the men’s individual foil. He lost 15-11 to Panchan Nontapat in the final.

In total, Viet Nam has won four gold medals, one silver and five bronzes to maintain second place on the Games’ medal tally.
