Artistic photos displayed for local patients
An exhibition featuring 150 medal winning and outstanding photos from the 20th South Central Region and Highlands Artistic Photography Festival is open at the Da Nang Cancer Hospital until 6 October for the benefit of patients.
The event is one of the activities from the ‘One Photo – Many Hopes’ charity project, and the ‘Singing for Our Patients’ and the ‘Travelling Bookshelves to Bring Belief’ programmes which are being organised and mainly funded by the Hai Chau District’s Business Association.
The aim is to improve the cultural atmosphere in the local hospitals and create a warmth and closeness to bring belief for their patients. In addition, they aim to provide patients with psychological and spiritual treatment and to educate young people about being helpful in the community.
When the exhibition ends, the organisers will ask permission from the owners of the displayed photos to make prints of their photos and display them permanently in local hospitals.
