Upgrade of 3 more village communal houses completed
After several months of restoration, the Huong Phuoc, An Ngai Dong and Khue Bac village communal houses in Da Nang reopened their doors to the public on Thursday.
The restoration of these cultural buildings followed the upgrading of the Phong Le Bac and Truoc Bau village communal houses which was completed in May and August respectively.
As part of the 'Conserving and Promoting the Value of Cultural Heritage in Da Nang for the 2013 - 2015 Period' project, a total of nearly 9 billion VND from the city’s budget has been spent on upgrading these 5 village communal houses. They are all municipal-level relic sites which had seriously deteriorated due to the ravages of war and the passage of time.
