Sa Pa, Hoi An, Ha Long Bay among top Asian destinations

The Conde Nast Traveler magazine has listed three renowned destinations in Viet Nam in the 50 most striking places across Asia.

The breathtaking sites are Sa Pa Town in Lao Cai Province, Hoi An City in Quang Nam Province, and Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh Province.

Besides fresh and cool air, Sa Pa is famous for its rich culture, the magazine said.

With mossy houses, wooden bridges and ancient wells, Hoi An is always a magic magnet for both Vietnamese and foreign tourists, it added.

Ha Long Bay, which has been recognised as a world heritage site by UNESCO, features thousands of limestone karstsand islets in various sizes and shapes.

Rounding on the list of top 50 include Bunaken Marine Park in Indonesia, Taj Mahal mausoleum in India, Nara Park in Japan, Luang Prabang in Laos, JeJu Islands in the Republic of Korea, and Langkawi Island in Malaysia.
