Danish Film Week to take place in Hue and Da Nang

A Danish Film Week is scheduled to take place in Hue and Da Nang for the first time ever from 26 May to 4 June.

According to the Danish Embassy in Viet Nam, the film week will introduce films of various genres such as ‘A Royal Affair’, ‘The Hunt’, ‘A Hijacking’, and ‘Silent Heart’, ‘Mini and the Mozzies’, and ‘Freddy Frogface’.

All films of the Danish Film Week were made in recent years and have won numerous international awards and important nominations in various film festivals, including the Oscar and Cannes Film Festival.

Danish Ambassador to Viet Nam Charlotte Laursen said “In this Danish Film Weeks 2017, we introduce the Danish contemporary film industry, which has created a vast amount of talented actors and filmmakers with worldwide reputation. Through 6 films, we hope to give you a glimpse of the Danish modern society and the contemporary life of the Danish people; but more than that, we hope you enjoy the films as much as we do”.

The Danish Film Week is scheduled to open at Da Nang's Le Do Cinema on 26 May and at Hue's Dong Ba Cinema on 27 May.

In Da Nang, audience can get free tickets at the Le Do Cinema, 46 Tran Phu in Hai Chau District.  Movie lovers in Hue can receive free tickets either at the Dong Ba Cinema at 187 Tran Hung Dao or the Centre of Film Distribution and Screening at 25 Hai Bà Trưng.
