Co-organised by the Trung Vuong Theatre and South Korean Uijeongbu Arts Centre, the event is part of the city's activities to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and South Korea.
The musical performance features well-known artistes from Viet Nam and South Korea , including Lee Ji Suk, Han Yungyeon and Kim Minkyu. It introduces local audience to romantic story of two lovers living in different worlds.
The show is a combination of contemporary dances and traditional folk dances, said Kim Kyujong, director of the show, also a member of the RoK Music Association.
Acting Director of Trung Vuong Theatre, Mr Quang Hao remarked that the idea of introducing this mixture of two genres is to give the public a taste of opera and to test the influence of K-pop on older audience.
