The painters, hailing from such countries as the UK, France, Russia, the Netherlands and Norway, are living and working in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province in the central region.

Addressing the opening ceremony last Saturday, the museum’s Director Ha Thanh Van said the exhibition, themed 'Connection', aims to enhance the international friendship, cooperation and exchange in culture and arts, while helping Vietnamese painters share experience with European colleagues.

It is also expected to bring foreign friends closer to Da Nang people, he added.

The event will run until 14 April.
