On Tuesday afternoon, SHB Da Nang left their home fans disappointed as they could only play out a goalless away draw against 5^th-placed Can Tho.

SHB’s coach Nguyen Minh Phuong once again changed his team’s counter-attacking formation as goalkeeper Nguyen Thanh Binh and striker Do Merlo sat on the substitutes’ bench.

Meanwhile, Brazilian striker Diogo Pereira was arranged as central forward. However, he came in for a huge amount of criticism for his lacklustre performance in the game.

SHB’s striker Ha Duc Chinh and midfielders Vo Huy Toan and Nguyen Thanh Hai had to try to score by themselves instead of expecting accurate passes from their teammates.

And fortunately for SHB, the home team did not field their strongest squad as striker Wander Luiz Queiroz Dias who is injured and midfielder Huu Dung on suspension.

After earning one more point with the goalless away draw, SHB are still in 10^th place with 12 points.

In the other match on the same day, Binh Duong had an easy 5-1 home victory over Sai Gon FC.
