SHB’s coach Nguyen Minh Phuong continued arranging striker Diogo Pereira as central forward, whilst striker Ha Duc Chinh played on the right side of the field. However, the Brazilian striker has yet to meet the requirements of his coach when he missed a scoring chance for his team in the 40th minute due to his inaccurate shot.

In the 11th minute, an own goal by SLNA’s striker Olaha currently gave the home team the lead. 8 minutes later, SLNA’s midfielder Phan Van Duc levelled the score at 1-1 with a powerful free kick. In the 26th minute, midfielder Ho Khac Ngoc’s shot raised the score to 1-2 for the visitors.

In the 57th minute, SHB’s Hoang Minh Tam failed to beat goalkeeper Vu Hai, but fortunately, his failing shot became a perfect pass for striker Do Merlo to score to narrow the gap to 2-2. The score remained at 2-2, as it did until the end of the game.

Sunday’s other match results were:

                        Quang Nam 1-0 Can Tho
