The Cocofest 2018 Festival will take place at the Cocobay Entertainment and Tourism Complex in Da Nang from 6 - 7 July.

The 2-day event, which is considered as one of Asia’s biggest musical events, is expected to attract around 30,000 visitors in total.

The event’s Director Viet Tu affirmed that like Coachella in the USA or Tomorrowland in Belgium, Cocofest 2018 will be this year’s most eagerly anticipated electronic dance music (EDM) festival in the city.

Surprisingly, the event will feature the Latino artist Luis Fonsi with the super hit, Despacito which reached 5 billion views on YouTube. This song topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 consecutive weeks, and took the lead in Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs category for 27 consecutive weeks. It was the most-streamed songs on Spotify.

Festival goers will have the opportunity to see their idol Luis Fonsi with their own eyes, and to enjoy explosive EDM music in a special space imbued with the Latin American cultural identity.

In addition to exciting musical performances, visitors to the Cocofest 2018 will have the chance to experience international-standard services of luxury resorts in Cocobay, and to discover picturesque views of imposing mountains and blue seas in the city.
