Multi-coloured symphony performed by Team Italy
At around 8.30 pm on Saturday, the fireworks display by Martarello from Italy lit up Da Nang's night sky, and the Italian team thrilled the spectators with their tremendous show.
This evening was a special day for the Italian contestants because 2 June was their country's National Day. Therefore, their fireworks display was considered to be part of the celebrations of their country’s special day.
Martarello has become a popular name in DIFFs as the team competed in this international-scale event for 4 times, and they were crowned champions twice.
Mr Ermes Martarello, the leader of the Italian team, remarked “Through the use of special effects in our fireworks display, we created visual images of Da Nang’s beautiful bridges swinging, glittering, sparkling and being splendid in the night sky. Pyrotechnic shapes drifted slowly towards the infinite horizon-like bridges of endless friendship and longstanding happiness in life."
He added that more advanced pyrotechnic techniques and foreign systems compared with last year, including an around 40m-high pillar, were utilised, to produce perfectly professional shows.
With a symphony of spectacular sound and multi-colours, the team’s performances brought spectators’ imagination to the world of dreams, joy and happiness.
