The Portuguese team will use up to 30,000 pyrotechnic effects and 3,000 kilograms of firecrackers fired from 7 launching platforms of between 6m and 7m in height, and 33 firing positions.

As of Thursday, the installation of fireworks tubes by the 2 teams at the launch location at the former Han River Port had been nearly completed.

Ms Nadia Wong Abdullah, the Director of the Global2000 Company from Malaysia, the consultants for DIFF 2018, said her unit has assisted the participating teams in protecting firecrackers from unexpected rain.
