Between 2013 and 2018, the Da Nang Artistic Photography Association has gained remarkable achievements in such aspects as creating numerous amazing works and enhancing photography skills for its members.

Notably, the Association has organised an average of 5 exhibitions every year. Included have been exhibitions to celebrate the 20 years since Da Nang was recognised as a centrally-governed city on 1 January 1997, and to welcome the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week 2017, plus the others featuring the country's sovereignty over its sea and islands, and red-shanked douc langurs.

In addition, the Association members have won nearly 200 awards at photography contests at regional, national and international levels.

The information was released by the Da Nang Artistic Photography Association at its 4^th Congress in the city on Tuesday. The event aimed to review the performance of the Association during the 2013 - 2018 period, and identify its new tasks for the 2018 - 2023 tenure.

In the coming time, the Association targets to renew its performanace, introduce widely photos taken by the members to local residents, and implement effectively other related tasks.

Also at the event, 5 members of the Association’s Executive Board were elected, with Mr Than Nguyen being appointed Chairman of the Association for the 2018 - 2023 tenure.
