In recent years, the Helio night market at the namesake entertainment complex on 2 September street has become very popular with locals, especially young people.
Since operations began in June 2017, this place has been considered as the largest cuisine and shopping space, and the biggest night-time venue in the city.
It opens from Thursdays to Sundays between 5.00pm and 10.30pm daily. The 3,000m2 area showcases 150 food and drinks stalls, along with 100 fashion ones.
In addition to a variety of fashionable products, drinks and food, this venue offers visitors vibrant music space with the performance of street artists and dancers.
Moreover, visitors will also have the opportunity to experience many attractive services such as Henna drawing, Tarot cartomancy, and nail art.
Nguyen Ngoc Tin, a second year student from the Da Nang University of Architecture, said he and his friends went to this inviting place on weekends to eat delicious street food, and enjoy fascinating musical performances to relax after a week of hard studying.
"Another reason is that the prices of drinking and eating, and musical services there are very affordable for students," Tin added.
In attempting to create more nighttime entertainment activities in the city for locals and tourists, the Son Tra Night Market, which is located along sections of Mai Hac De and Ly Nam De streets in Son Tra District, was officially opened to the public in September.
The new place features a total of 152 stalls selling food and drinks, souvenirs, fashionable clothes, bags, footwear, specialities, dried seafood, books, pictures, and more. Also, visitors will be treated with lively musical performances by local singers and artistes there.
Since 2015, numerous cultural and entertainment events at municipal, national and international levels have been organised at the East Sea Park’s outdoor BNF stage on Vo Nguyen Giap Street. These events have attracted great deal of attention of general public.
More recently, the Bao Nguyen Food and Event Joint Stock Company successfully organised the Day of the Dead 2018 on 31 October with the participation of thousands of young people. The event featured such exciting activities as Tarot cartomancy, Halloween costume painting, magic circus, fire dancing, and musical performance by DJ and MC Hyper.
The Company recently developed a plan for organising a fascinating musical show called ‘Da Nang Music Festival’ monthly at the BNF stage. The event aims to create an attractive entertainment space for local residents and visitors.
Every month, the event will have a different theme such as R&B, Ballad, and Bolero with the performance of many famous domestic singers and artistes.
The first show will take place at 7.00pm on 30 November. The organisers will present 5,000 invitation tickets for this event to workers who are working in industrial parks across the city.
