The Da Nang International Food Festival 2019 (DNIFF 2019), themed ‘Taste of homeland’ will take place from 2 – 6 June at the park near the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge in Son Tra District.

According to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, DNIFF 2019 will be attended by famous international chefs from the participating foreign countries, namely Germany, Mexico, Australia, India, China, Srilanka, Lebanon, Sweden, America, Turkey, Greece, Malaysia and Singapore.  They are the world-class chefs and the honoured members of the WORLDCHEFS as well as the head chefs at the top restaurants in their home countries.

In particular, DNIFF 2019 greets Mr. Thomas Andreas Gugler, the President of the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (WORLDCHEFS) cum co-founder and managing members of the Saudi Arabia Chef Association.

Also in attendance at the upcoming 5-day international event are professional chefs from such 4, 5-star hotels and restaurants in Da Nang as Golden Bay, Grand Mercure, TMS, DLG, New Orient, Nhu Minh Plaza, and Premier Village Danang Resort.

The highlight of the event will be an international culinary space with 15 stands which showcase the special cuisine of the above-mentioned participating foreign countries.

Besides, visitors will be treated with numerous exciting and interesting activities and sub-programmes on the sidelines of DNIFF 2019. Most notable amongst them are cocktail parties, bartender performances, nightly musical shows, and an exhibition space highlighting beautiful tourism photos.

The international event aims to re-affirm Da Nang position as ‘Asia’s Leading Festival and Events Destination’, the award it was given at the World Travel Awards Asia & Australasia Gala Ceremony in 2016, in tandem with advertising the city’s tourism brand to both domestic and foreign visitors via its typical culinary highlight. Hopefully, DNIFF 2019 is expected to be one of the most attractive and unforgettable events for locals and tourists during this year.
