The 2019 Da Nang - Summer Rendezvous programme is taking place at the East Sea Park and some popular attractions in the city from 14 - 19 June.

The 6-day festival features various cultural and sports activities, including tug-of-war, giant ball-rolling race, and beach volleyball competition.

One of the highlights of the programme is the ‘A Day in a life of Xu Quang Chef’ programme which is being organised at the East Sea Park’s cuisine space from 14 - 16 June between 5.30pm and 7.30pm daily.

Visitors to the most eagerly-awaited event have the opportunity to free-of-charge prepare and enjoy some local dishes by themselves.

Notably, the EDM Party entitled ‘Amazing Summer’ is slated to be held on 18 June between 7.00pm and 10.30pm.

On the opening ceremony of the programme on Friday afternoon, the organisers appealed for local people and tourists to join forces with the municipal authorities to protect the marine environment by saying ‘no’ to single-use plastic products to deal with pollution and save waste treatment costs.
