The well-known German film festival for children and youth Schlingel 2019 is set to take place at the Da Nang General Science Library located at 36 Bach Dang from 26 - 30 June.

The event is jointly organised by the Goethe-Institut and the SCHLINGEL with the support  of the German Films and the Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung mdm.

During the 5-day film festival, a total of six German films by famous German filmmakers that will be shown are ‘Jim Button and Luke the Locomotive Driver’, ‘Matti and Sami and the three biggest mistakes of the universe’, ‘Simple’, ‘Supa Modo’, ‘My devil-friend Lilith’, and ‘Little Witch’.

The theme of each of the movies involves young people who possess strong characteristics and they are both adventurous and full of imagination.

This year’s festival will run from 19 to 30 June in Ha Noi, Hue, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
