On Sunday, the ‘Da Nang Super League 2019’ table tennis tournament was officially opened in the city.

Organised by the municipal Table Tennis Federation, the tournament is attracting more than 100 players in total of 10 teams from table tennis clubs in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province.

Under the competition’s rules, the teams will compete in a round-robin format in the qualifying stages. Four teams with the highest points will play the knockout rounds to earn tickets into the semifinals and the finals.

The tournament is expected to conclude in mid-September.
