The Thanh Khe Book Fair 2019, which is slated to take place from 22 to 25 August at the Da Nang-based 29 March Park, promises highly inviting activities for locals and visitors.

The 4-day event will highlight a total of 55 stalls introducing and selling new books released by publishing houses nationwide, including Young Publisher, Kim Dong Publishing House, and the National Political Publishing House (Truth), plus the Da Nang Books & School Equipment JSC (DaNaBook).

Also on the spotlight of this year’s event will be numerous fascinating sideline activities, including book exchanges, the introduction of newly-published books, and the trade in stationery and cultural products.

Moreover, visitors to the event will be treated to a book-related story telling contest for junior and senior high school pupils across the district, a contest to paint decorative patterns on Vietnamese broad- rimmed palm-leaf conical hats, musical shows, plus flash mob and dance sports performances.
