The Da Nang Youth Taekwondo and Karate Championship 2019 is taking place at the city-based Tien Son Sports Arena from 29 - 31 August.

The event is attracting the participation of nearly 300 taekwondo fighters from 25 taekwondo clubs, and 199 karate fighters from 18 karate clubs across the city.

As for the Taekwondo competition, athletes are competing in men's individuals and doubles, and women's individuals and doubles.

Meanwhile, the karate fighters are divided into 4 different age groups: under 12, from 13-14, from 15-16, and from 17-18. They are competing in the categories of men's individual kata, women's individual kata, men's team kumite, and women's team kumite.
