The squad also return to the top 15 strongest teams in Asia, thanks to the two consecutive victories against Malaysia and Indonesia in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers this month.

Viet Nam beat Malaysia 1-0 and Indonesia 3-1, respectively, in Group G in the Asian Qualifiers second round for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 earlier this October.

Viet Nam are ranked the No.1 in Southeast Asia, followed by Thailand, who jumped five places to 109th following their wins over Indonesia and the UAE in the same group of the World Cup Qualifiers.

The Philippines collected four more points after a goalless draw against China in their respective qualifier this month, climbing to No. 126 and ranking third in Southeast Asia.

Belgium top the world rankings, while France, Brazil, and England come just behind.
