Of this figure, around 25,000 are pupils and students, whilst the remainder are historical researchers, government officials, along with domestic and foreign visitors.
Apart from domestic visitors, the house has drawn much attention from international tourists from such countries as the UK, the USA, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan.
Visitors to the museum can learn about its displayed exhibits by themselves or with the help from a museum guide.
In December 2019, the inviting place was officially recognised as one of the city’s attractions by the municipal authorities. This has greatly helped to enrich the city’s tourism products, and increase visitor arrivals in the city.
Since its recognition as a tourist site, the Hoang Sa Exhibition House has hosted a large number of domestic and foreign visitors. The majority of the visists were arranged by some tour operators in the city. Included are the city branches of the Viet Nam Tourism Joint Stock Company (Vitours), the CO Vietnam Travel Mart company, and the Saigontourist Travel Service Company.
Hoang Sa Exhibition House Acting Director Le Tien Cong remarked, in the coming time, indoor exhibition space of the venue will be rearranged and display such new exhibits as marine creatures. The intention is to make this venue more inviting to visitors, especially young people, pupils and students.
Mr Cong added, during this year, his unit will create and organise mobile events at senior high schools in Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son districts to help local pupils gain deep insights into the country’s sea and islands.
