Following recent approval by the Da Nang People’s Committee, some activities at the Rong (Dragon) and Han River bridges have been temporarily suspended until further notice in order to stop the further spread of the novel coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2.  

The Rong (Dragon) Bridge

The dragon’s head at the eastern end of the Rong Bridge will stop breathing fire and squirting water, whilst the Han River Bridge will stop swinging open, on the weekends. 

Over recent years, the weekend shows of fire breathing and water squirting at the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge, and the opening of the Han River Swing Bridge, have been very attractive to both domestic and international arrivals.
