Da Nang young man appears in South Korean movies
In 2019, Le Anh Ton, a resident of Da Nang, appeared in Korean blockbuster Arthdal Chronicles which stared Song Joong Ki, and the Da Nang man spoke the Central Vietnamese dialect called Hue in this foreign film.

Born in 1991, Ton was a former pupil of Da Nang-based Le Quy Don Senior High School for the Gifted. After graduating from the Da Nang University of Science and Technology with excellent results, Ton got scholarship to study for Master’s degree in Telecommunication in South Korea.
After his graduation from South Korea, Ton suddenly decided to give up the opportunity to become a university lecturer to pursue his passion for being an actor in the country of kimchi.
“I want to be an actor to achieve higher goals in my life as a passion. During my stay in South Korea, the fire of passion kept burning, so I decided to pursue my dream of being an actor” Ton said.

Finally, his great efforts were paid off as he made cameo appearances in three other K-dramas namely Miss Hammurabi, Miss Hammurabi and Voice 3, shot photos for Kwater Water Resources Protection campaign, and filmed ads for Hyundai, Jejuair and Seoul City.
Previously, Ton had honoured with awards in cultural and sporting events in South Korea. Included were cultural ambassadors of Seoul and Suwon in 2015 and 2016 respectively, the first prize at the Vietnamese Students' Festival in South Korea 2016 for his solo performance, the second and third prizes at the Talent Show of Global Student Mentoring Forum in 2016 and 2015 respectively, a bronze medal at a MBC Sport+-organised wrestling competition for foreign students in 2016, and 2nd prizes at the Gyeonggi Provincial Festival 2018 and the Exciting Festival in Gyeonggi in 2018.
Most recently, Le Anh Ton has signed a contract with a Korean entertainment company to continue pursuing his dream of becoming an actor.
